(Liberty Bell) – Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene from the state of Georgia has now called for the imprisonment of President Joe Biden on charges of alleged corruption stemming from an FBI document that describes an incident when Biden, then the vice president under Barack Obama, took a bribe from a foreign national.
“This is an impeachable document. President Biden should be impeached. Secondly, he should be prosecuted,” she went on to say in an interview with the Daily Caller on Thursday.
“This is unbelievable. It’s a pay-to-play scheme. He took a bribe from a foreign national in a foreign country that paid millions of dollars. … He needs to be prosecuted for this, and I would argue that he should serve jail time,” she continued.
As per Jack Davis of The Western Journal, Greene then remarked that ensuring Biden is held accountable for his actions is not political, but simply the right thing to do. And she’s absolutely correct. No matter who was in office or what party they belonged to, an individual busted for taking a bribe and abusing their political power should be tossed in jail. We need to have a fair and equal justice system where everyone is expected to obey the same set of laws.
“If we were not politically divided, if we were the United States that used to exist that is righteous and just, if we were a just nation, Joe Biden would be impeached. No one could argue with this, Democrat or Republican. I would say no one can argue with it now,” she explained.
Fox News put out a piece that stated sources who are familiar with the FD-1023 document have revealed that it contains details concerning a $5 million payment from an executive for the Burisma energy company based in Ukraine. Biden’s son, Hunter, was a member of the company’s board at the time.
The document allegedly contains unverified information that was given to the FBI through a confidential informant.
“According to Fox, the 2020 report summarizes conversations the informant had with a Burisma executive as far back as 2015,” Davis wrote. “The Burisma executive allegedly said the company had to ‘pay the Bidens’ because of an investigation into Burisma by Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin while Biden was U.S. vice president.”
In video footage captured later, Biden takes an opportunity to be smug and brag about how he used his political power and influence to have Shokin dismissed from his position by threatening to withhold U.S. aid to Ukraine.
This is corruption of the highest order. It’s unbelievable that Biden had the nerve to take such action and really believe he could get away with it. The left truly thinks they are invincible to the consequences of the shady things they do. It’s time to shatter that illusion.
“$5 million for one Biden, $5 million for the other Biden,” the Burisma executive allegedly went on to say to the confidential human source, according to Fox News’ report.
Fox then noted that the informant is convinced the $5 million was paid to Joe Biden, with another $5 million given to Hunter.
The confidential source asserted that the Burisma executive disclosed that payments were made “through so many different bank accounts” that an individual conducting an investigation would not be able to “unravel this for at least 10 years.”
Davis then reported that the executive told the informant that he didn’t “pay the Big Guy directly.” For those who might not be aware, the term “Big Guy” has been interpreted as a reference to Joe Biden.
“After reading the FD-1023, Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida said Biden is ‘100% guilty’ of bribery, according to NBC News,” Davis continued. “Meanwhile, Republican Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina told Fox News that the FD-1023 held ‘damning evidence the sitting president of the United States sold out his country in an ongoing bribery scheme.'”
“The American people and media deserve to see the evidence. We should follow the facts,” she proclaimed.
