(Liberty Bell) – One of the Democrats favorite tactics to manipulate Americans is distraction with non-stories to cover up the real story.
The entire Trump indictment that played out Tuesday is nothing but smoke and mirrors. Once the charges were unsealed during Trump’s arraignment it quickly became clear that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg was attempting to make a criminal case out of thin air. The case is pathetically weak. Much weaker than the rabid anti-Trump cult likely was expecting.
So what was really going on this week that Democrats wanted to keep on the down-low? As it turns out, Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal is just heating up.
While the left did everything they could to make this scandal go quietly into the night, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) isn’t on board with that plan.
Comer released a statement and did an interview on Tuesday with Fox News host Jesse Watters in which he announced that the entire narrative surrounding classified documents found by Joe Biden’s legal team just prior to the midterms is wildly incorrect.
Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, explained that testimony from Biden’s former executive assistant, Kathy Chung, showed that the Biden White House had been trying to retrieve the documents since at least May of last year, six months before the public knew anything about them.
Comer also divulged that the documents had been in unauthorized locations since Biden left the office of the vice president back in 2017.

Comer expressed thanks to Chung for her testimony and stated the committee had learned from her that “the documents didn’t just start mysteriously moving around in … November 2022, like the White House has alleged.”
“She said this dates back to May of 2022, that the documents were moved from the vice presidency to at least three different locations in a personal vehicle,” he noted. “And why they were in three different locations, we don’t know.”
“They weren’t stored behind any locks. One of the locations was in Chinatown. The other location was in the Penn Biden Center, which might as well have been Chinatown, by looking at where their money was coming from.”
“The White House has never been honest with the American people. Remember, we never would have found out about this in March of 2023 if someone hadn’t leaked it in the press” that the documents had been found.”
“So the White House then came back and said, ‘Yeah, that happened in November, December of 2022,’” the congressman commented.
“She just testified under oath that it happened in May of 2022. So, there are more questions today than we’ve ever had,” he remarked.
Comer further pointed out that President Trump could be facing another indictment over the classified documents he had at his Mar-a-Lago home, that were seized during the FBI raid but what Joe Biden has done could be much worse.
Not only does this new information indicate that these documents were being carelessly shuffled around but there’s also the fact that it has been revealed by the New York Post that Joe Biden’s crackhead son, Hunter Biden, may have had access to the classified documents and shared intel from them with the Ukrainian energy company he sat on the board of. Thanks to Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell, it appears that documents were accessible to him when they were supposedly being kept secure by the elder Biden while he was vice president.
“We don’t know how many locations he had,” Comer declared. “We don’t know what those documents were. We’re very suspicious that his son sent one of those in an email to Ukraine, to his buddies at Burisma…”
“This is another example of a two-tiered system of justice in America,” he asserted.
This new information really makes Biden’s documents scandal a whole lot worse than it already looked.
For one thing, it proves the Biden White House lied right to the American people’s faces when it claimed it didn’t know anything about the documents until Biden lawyers found them in November.
It was bad that they sat on the story long enough to get the midterm elections out of the way but flat-out lying about the timing of when the documents were found just makes it worse.
Further, as Watters pointed out during his interview with Comer, if the White House was seeking the documents in May that means that when the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago, top Washington officials already knew Biden was facing a similar problem. It’s clear the entire thing was purely political.
The most concerning aspect of the entire situation, however, is its implications as far as the Biden family’s financial ties to China. What was China paying the Biden family for?
That’s something the mainstream media hacks and the Washington swamp creatures would prefer we all just ignore especially considering the actual evidence they have against Trump is so much less.
While history was no doubt made on Tuesday with the indictment of a former president, the real story is the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the sitting president.
What a circus.
