(Liberty Bell) – One of the phrases that seems to sum up all of the Democratic Party’s efforts to destroy former President Donald Trump and prevent him from running for office in 2024 is “conflict of interest,” as more and more situations fitting that description continue to pop up. The latest example of this, as per Melissa Fine of BizPac Review, comes from the former top New York City prosecutor who is advising Special Counsel Jack Smith in his investigation into Trump. He dropped some serious cash for Democratic Party campaigns, including President Joe Biden’s, official records say.
“Smith, who has thus far indicted Trump for challenging the 2020 election and for his involvement with the notorious Jan. 6 events at the Capitol, is being advised by several veteran attorneys, according to the Washington Examiner, one of whom is David Rody,” Fine said in her report. “Rody ditched his role as partner at Sidley Austin, a major American multinational law firm, in 2022 and rejoined the Department of Justice as a senior counsel in the criminal division — he is a former DOJ prosecutor and ABC News reported that he ‘left his high-paid private job’ to work as ‘an adviser on the widening Trump-related probes.'”
The Examiner points out that Rody “gave $5,600 to Biden’s 2020 campaign and almost $7,000 to other Democratic causes from 2018 to 2022, according to campaign finance disclosures.” News concerning the donations breaks as a report has surfaced that U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who was appointed to the bench by former President Barack Obama and assigned to preside over the Trump election-related case, has connections to Hunter Biden and a reputation for being the “toughest punisher” of defendants from the Jan. 6 riot.
Fine wrote that Chutkan “contributed roughly $4,300 to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and victory fund combined between 2008 and 2012,” the Washington Examiner divulged.

The BPR contributor then remarked, “Given the mounting evidence that the DOJ has been weaponized against the Biden administration’s opponents, the Rody revelation is likely to raise more Republican eyebrows over what many claim is a partisan approach to Smith’s investigations.”

Back in June, the Washington Examiner noted that Rody “steered $1,000 to the campaign for Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), who was lead counsel in the first impeachment inquiry against Trump.”
“He also gave $500 in 2019 to the failed-presidential campaign for now-Vice President Kamala Harris and $2,250 combined to Sen. Cory Booker’s (D-NJ) presidential and Senate reelection campaigns, according to disclosures,” the news publisher stated.
And these aren’t the only folks around Smith who have financially supported Democratic candidates in various elections.
“Karen Gilbert, one of the lead attorneys also on the special counsel team, is a Biden and Obama donor, records show,” The Examiner revealed. “Some Republicans have also pointed out that Smith’s wife donated to Biden.”
Karoline Leavitt, a spokeswoman for a pro-Trump Super PAC known as Make America Great Again Inc., asserted that she isn’t surprised in the least to find out that donors to President Joe Biden are involved with Smith and his probes into the former president.
“Jack Smith and his gang of henchmen are dishonest, partisan hacks acting as enforcers for Joe Biden and the Democrat Party,” Leavitt commented during a conversation with the Washington Examiner. “It’s no surprise that several of his prosecutors are Biden donors.”
In Georgia, Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat has sworn that, should Trump end up indicted in the state, he will indeed force him to strike a pose for a mugshot. That’s how vindictive the radical left really is. They will do anything to not only destroy Trump’s chances of serving a second term in the White House, but also completely and totally ruin his life in every way imaginable. Leftists want to humiliate him for interfering with their plans during his first term.
“Unless somebody tells me differently, we are following our normal practices, and so it doesn’t matter your status,” Labat declared during a press conference held on Tuesday. “We’ll have a mug shot ready for you.”
