Donald Trump Jr. Signs Lucrative 7-Figure Podcasting Deal

(Liberty Bell) – Donald Trump Jr., the son of former President Donald Trump, has just put his John Hancock down on a very lucrative seven-figure podcast deal with Rumble, the free speech alternative to YouTube, which is growing rapidly thanks to conservatives making the most of the platform after being censored or silenced on the former. The deal, which is multiyear, was first revealed by media outlet Axios, and makes Trump Jr. one of the highest-paid podcasters in the world.

Guess Joe Rogan has got some competition now, doesn’t he? Given the fact Trump Jr., is a diehard conservative, there’s no doubt his program is going to end up being super popular and successful. While he stands to make a lot of cash off the deal, there’s no doubt Rumble will also make a killing. Smart move for the future of the platform.

Alex Hammer of the Daily Mail writes, “Titled ‘Triggered with Don Jr,’ the podcast will air twice a week, and will reportedly feature the eldest Trump scion’s takes on the news of the day.”

“The show will also feature interviews with various guests, and premieres on January 23. The 44-year-old firebrand has already amassed a pronounced following on the site, where he regularly posts videos that riff on current events,” Hammer said.

He continues by writing that, “Aside from being valued at ‘seven figures’ – meaning Trump Jr. will make an annual salary of at least $1million – Axios did not disclose specifics on the new deal, other than that Rumble is open to expanding on the already agreed-upon airings if the show is well-received.”

The podcast deal with Rumble could potentially send the oldest of Trump’s children into the history books as being one of the highest paid podcasters in the world, joining the ranks of folks like Tim Dillon, Bill Simmons, and Joe Rogan. Those are some heavy-hitters, folks. I have no doubt you’ll see Trump Jr. keeping up with Rogan. But hey, there’s plenty of room for everyone. In fact, we need as many of these kinds of voices in our culture as possible.

If he wants to break into the top 10 list of highest paid personalities, he will need to make a whopping $1.2 million. That’s a healthy chunk of change. Given the popularity of his father, he can probably make it happen.

Trump Jr. joined Rumble in the early part of 2021 and has become one of the most popular content creators on the platform. The site, which was released just a little over a year ago, has taken huge strides toward becoming a true alternative to YouTube, proving to be extremely popular with conservative influencers.

“Trump Jr, who commonly posts video critiques of politicians like Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi on his channel, has drawn more than 1 million subscribers himself, after becoming an early adopter of the website,” Hammer writes for the outlet.

“Much like his father’s Twitter alternative Truth Social, the Toronto-based company has made waves in recent months, appealing to a demographic that was largely displaced in the wake of the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot,” the author says. “It has burgeoned in popularity since going public in September, inking exclusive deals with personalities such as outspoken actor Brand, Intercept founder Glenn Greenwald, and YouTuber VivaFrei.”

The company, based out of Toronto, is still fairly small compared to YouTube, but has already become worth $2.5 billion, after just being valued at $2 billion a few months ago. That’s pretty impressive.

“An early adopter of the website, Trump Jr. – who alongside his brother Eric, 38, serves as a senior trustee and executive vice president of the Trump empire – has carved out a prominent place on the platform, with brass apparently taking notice,” the report says. “Late last year, Trump – who has past experience as a TV presenter and appeared as guest adviser and judge on many episodes of ‘The Apprentice’ – touted the site as an unbiased platform where creators can share clips without fear of censorship.”

It’ll be interesting to see how successful this podcast becomes and what kind of opportunities it opens up for other content creators in the future.
