BREAKING: Major Fox News Host Announces He Is Leaving The Network

(Liberty Bell) – A conservative rock star and Fox News commentator has officially parted ways with Fox News. On Thursday, Dan Bongino announced he was leaving the network and indicated the issue was failed contract negotiations.

“I’ve got some personal news to share. Let’s just get right to it. Regretfully, last week was my last show on Fox News, on the Fox News Channel. It’s tough. It’s tough to say that,” Bongino announced on his Rumble show Thursday.

He wanted it to be known that there was no acrimony and that his departure had nothing to do with politics or the massive settlement Fox News has agreed to pay out as a result of the Dominion Voting Systems defamation lawsuit against it.

The cancellation of his massively popular shows, “The Dan Bongino Show” and “Unfiltered w/Dan Bongino,” was because he and the network could not “come to terms on an extension.”

“It’s not some big conspiracy. I promise you. There’s not. There’s no acrimony. This wasn’t some like WWE brawl that happened. We just couldn’t come to terms on an extension. And that’s really it,” he explained.

He added that Fox News had given him the opportunity to do one more final show but he declined the offer.

“They did give me the opportunity to do one last show. I don’t want you to think they showed me the door. That’s on me, not on them. But I just thought it was best to kind of go this way for now,” he stated.

Given the fact that Bongino’s Unfiltered show was a ratings boon, it’s pretty likely that the network just wasn’t willing or able to pay him what he’s worth.

“Bongino’s show, which aired at 9 p.m. ET on Saturdays, was a ratings success for Fox News, with last Saturday’s episode of Unfiltered—the final episode—drawing 1.179 million viewers. It ranked as the highest-rated show of the day Saturday,” according to Forbes.

“For the first quarter of 2023, Unfiltered was the top show in prime time with 1.3 million viewers and 134,000 viewers in the key demographic of viewers 25-54, the group most valued by advertisers,” Forbes reported Thursday.

Bongino likely wanted a pretty substantial increase in pay considering the ratings he was bringing to Fox.

Fox might just be a little short on cash flow right at the moment given the $800 million settlement it now has to pay Dominion.

No matter the reason, Bongino is still as popular as he ever was and fans made it clear they will follow him wherever he goes next.

For all the love and support Bongino received, he got his fair share of laughter and hate from the deranged left who can’t stand to hear truth and reason:

These are the kinds of people who are obsessed with hating Trump and believe every word out of the stage propagandists at CNN and MSNBC no matter how blatantly outrageous it is. They actually believe that Republicans are fascists and that words are violence.

They love fake news and have been busy spreading lies regarding the reason behind Bongino’s departure from Fox News, which he addressed Thursday:

“We were the number one show 90 percent of the time. We had a great team. You’re going to read a thousand left wing articles about some nonsense, and I’m guaranteeing you on my reputation, it is all made up. It’s a simple contract thing, and that’s it. It is no more complicated than that,” he said.

There you have it. Good luck Dan Bongino!
