WATCH: Kyle Rittenhouse Goes On Tucker Carlson, Announces Total Nightmare For Media And Big Tech

(Liberty Bell) – No one has been smeared, harassed and slandered quite like 19-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was by the establishment mainstream media and social media outlets.

The left was hell-bent on making Rittenhouse out to be a cold-blooded, racist, mass murderer but the reality is the facts of his case just didn’t prove that. Not even remotely.

Rittenhouse and his attorney, Todd McMurty, announced Monday night during an appearance on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” that they were planning to hold the media establishment accountable for their defamatory conduct against him.

“We are going to make the media pay for what they did to me,” the 19-year-old Rittenhouse told Carlson.

Rittenhouse, however, isn’t just going after the media. He’s also honing in on some of the Big Tech platforms who not only facilitated the harassment of Rittenhouse but contributed to it by treating him like a criminal before he even had his day in court.

They plan to start with Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook.

As you recall, Rittenhouse faced a variety of charges in connection with the shooting of three men, two of them fatally, during a riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 25, 2020. That was right at the height of the violent, anti-American rioting that swept across the country during 2020.

The left immediately labeled Rittenhouse a “white supremacist” and a “racist” and said he intended to kill people the night of the 25th. Meanwhile, in reality, none of that was true (Not a single one of the people involved were any other ethnicity besides Caucasian).

In November 2021, a jury declared Rittenhouse not guilty on all charges. While this vindicated Rittenhouse, it only fueled the establishment media’s hatred of him. They made his life hell before and throughout the trial and showed absolutely no signs of remorse after he was found not guilty.

Rittenhouse had not been proven guilty and yet the media hacks refused to recant their false characterizations of him. Their behavior towards him has had a lasting impact in Rittenhouse’s life.

“They made it hard for me to live a normal life. I can’t go out into public. I can’t go to the store. It’s hard for me to go anywhere without security. Doing basic things like taking my dog to the dog park is difficult,” Rittenhouse told Carlson.

“They made it really difficult to be normal, and they affected future job opportunities to me. I don’t think I will ever be able to work or get a job because I’m afraid an employer may not hire me.”

McMurty asserted that several defamation lawsuits were on the horizon that would be targeting those in the media and on social media who called Rittenhouse a “murderer” and a “white supremacist.”

It became clear during the interview that one of, if not the biggest, target for Rittenhouse and his lawyer is Facebook.

McMurty says that Facebook won’t be able to hide behind the protections granted to social media platforms by Section 230 of the federal Communications Decency Act which essentially protects platforms from facing liability for what users post on their platforms.

Facebook’s problems go further than simply allowing defamatory posts on its platform. They went even further with employees actively removing posts defending Rittenhouse, which were, in the end, affirmed by the jury’s verdict.

Facebook also suppressed various posts that said Rittenhouse was innocent and even blocked searched for “Kyle Rittenhouse” on their platform, according to The Washington Free Beacon.

According to an Aug. 27, 2020, tweet from Facebook employee at the time, Brian Fishman, this was done because Facebook considered Rittenhouse to be a mass murderer.

This was all after Zuckerberg himself claimed that Rittenhouse committed mass murder, according to McMurty.

“Mark Zuckerberg announced in a videotape that what Kyle was involved in was mass murder, and that’s clearly defamatory as well,” he said.

“We’re going to sue, A, for the defamatory statements that Kyle engaged in mass murder and B, for violations of Section 230 by taking down posts that were, told the truth about Kyle,” McMurty said.

“So, in essence, they suppressed the truth by taking down truthful posts and they did that in violation of Section 230.”

It’s about time someone held the establishment media and social media platforms accountable. They’ve been doing a whole lot of lying over the course of the last 6 years and it’s time for them to pay.
