(Liberty Bell) – Republicans are gearing up to take control of the US House at the start of the new year and with that will come the opportunity to see “heads roll” over the “Twitter Files” revelations released by billionaire Twitter owner Elon Musk.
“With a new Republican majority next year, it’s not enough to just hold hearings, we need to hold people accountable,” US Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) tweeted Tuesday.
Her statement on echoed remarks she made on Sunday during an appearance on Fox News’ “Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy.”
“I really want to know what government agents and agencies were censoring the free speech of Americans,” Mace, a member of the House Oversight Committee, said.

“I want to see heads roll. I want to see people fired for what they’ve done.”
On Monday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) repeated a recent vow to issue subpoenas against 51 former US intelligence officials who signed an open letter that falsely claimed the New York Post’s Oct. 14, 2020, Hunter Biden laptop story “has the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
“Who asked’em to sign this letter? Do they still have [security] clearances?” McCarthy, who hopes to become Speaker of the House, stated during an appearance on Fox News‘ “Mornings with Maria.”
However, when host Maria Bartiromo asked him if US Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray would also be slapped with subpoenas, McCarthy declined to give a straight answer but seemed to suggest it was a possibility.
“Well, you’ve got to get to the very top because you’ve got to understand: What did they know?” he remarked. “Why did they allow this to go on? Did they know this was happening and continuing? Did they direct it? These are all questions that have to get asked.”
“We’ve got to get to the very bottom and I think just subpoenas are starting but you’re almost going to have to have a Church-style investigation to reform the FBI,” he noted. “The number of whistleblowers that have come forward, that have talked to us — this is going to be a much bigger situation than people realize.”
McCarthy was referring to the famed “Church Committee,” led by then-US Sen. Frank Church (D-Idaho), which issued a 1976 report that found “intelligence excesses, at home and abroad” by the FBI, CIA and IRS that began under President Franklin Roosevelt and continued through the early 1970s.
McCarthy made his comments in light of the “Twitter Files” released by Musk to three independent journalists which have exposed the deep connection between Twitter and the FBI.

The American people deserve nothing less than heads rolling. The FBI pressured Twitter to suppress news stories involving the son of a presidential candidate just weeks before the 2020 election with the intention of influencing the outcome.
You know, the very thing that Democrats have accused President Trump of doing with Russia during the 2016 election cycle. Of course, we all know those allegations are completely bogus but where is the outrage and indignation from Democrats over this real election interference from within our own government?
It’s non-existent, of course. It’ll be interesting to see how many Democrats are willing to dismiss the wrongdoings of FBI officials and agents in order to protect the regime when subpoenas are flying and the truth is finally exposed.
