Former Fox News Star Predicts Tucker Carlson Departure Will ‘Kill’ Network

(Liberty Bell) – Conservative media legend and former Fox News host, Glenn Beck, predicted on Monday that the exit of Tucker Carlson could potentially “kill” the news network. And to be honest, the company already took a massive, billion dollar hit due to the departure, which occurred almost immediately after the announcement was made.

“I think that’ll kill Fox, I really do,” Beck stated concerning the news of the popular conservative pundit leaving the network. “I know so many people that still kinda like Fox, they watch other shows, but they’re like, Tucker is the only one I really trust. You lose Tucker Carlson, I think that really kills them.”

“You’re getting rid of Tucker Carlson? Wow,” Beck continued, according to the Daily Caller. “Letting him walk out the door even? Wow.”

Fox made the official announcement on Monday, stating that they and Carlson “had agreed to part ways.” In his absence, they will be employing a rotation of various hosts until someone permanent has been chosen to fill his position during the 8 p.m. time slot.

“Carlson’s departure came less than a week after Fox News settled a lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787.5 million, averting a trial that could have seen Carlson and other network personalities forced to testify,” the Daily Caller said.

Beck, who made his own exit from Fox News during the early summer of 2011 and founded his own network, TheBlaze, extended an offer for the now unleashed host to come and talk with him about potentially joining his company.

“Tucker Carlson and I have become friends, and hopefully I’ll be able to talk with him today,” Beck remarked. “I don’t know what the situation is, but Tucker, come to Jamaica. We would love to have you here, you won’t miss a beat, and together, the two of us would tear it up, just tear it up.”
