BREAKING: Special Counsel Declares It’s A ‘Close Call’ On Whether Fauci Actively Undermined Trump During 2020 Election. Spread This EVERYWHERE.

(Liberty Bell) – If you recall, just one week before the 2020 election, COVID patron saint Dr. Fauci was actively stumping for Joe Biden. This matter was investigated by the United States Office of Special Counsel and their recent decision was apparently a “close call” and appears to favor Dr. Fauci.

As a federal employee, Fauci is prohibited from engaging in political activity. That did not, however, stop him from bashing President Trump and his administration’s handling of the so-called pandemic and further promoting Joe Biden.

Fauci gave several politically charged answers during an interview with the Washington Post within the week prior to the November 2020 election. However, his comments were apparently not politically charged enough for the US Office of Special Counsel.

In a letter dated Jan. 3, the OSC responded to a complaint that had been filed by the conservative nonprofit group Protect the Public’s Trust which accused Fauci of violating the Hatch Act. As you know, the Hatch Act’s goal is to keep electioneering out of federal government offices.

Fauci works for the federal government as an unelected employee. His role is to speak only on matters that pertain to his purview. The Hatch Act demands that he remain neutral and non-partisan. Fauci, however, does and says what Fauci wants, without consequence, of course.

This ruling is just the latest example of this.

In the complaint, the group accused Fauci’s interview with the Post, published Oct. 31, 2020, of exceeding “the mere exchange of opinions and in fact, participated in impermissible political activity.”

The group pointed out that in a CNBC interview on Oct. 28, just two days before the Post interview was published, Fauci was cautious and made it a point to decline to answer a political question posed by notorious Trump critic Shepard Smith.

“I’m not going to get into political statements,” Fauci told Smith, according to a transcript of the interview. “I’m going to stick with public health statements.”

However, Fauci appeared to throw all caution to the wind during his remarks to the Washington Post.

Fauci stated to the Post that Biden and his running-mate Sen. Kamala Harris were taking the pandemic “seriously from a public health perspective” whereas the Trump White House was merely looking at the situation from the perspective of “the economy and reopening the country.”

It didn’t stop there. Fauci went on to trash Dr. Scott Atlas, a top adviser to Trump at the time, while lamenting his own lack of access to the President.

“I have real problems with that guy,” Fauci said regarding Atlas. “He’s a smart guy who’s talking about things that I believe he doesn’t have any real insight or knowledge or experience in. He keeps talking about things that when you dissect it out and parse it out, it doesn’t make any sense.”

He further went on to paint a pretty grim picture of the direction of the country under President Trump’s leadership.

“We’re in for a whole lot of hurt. It’s not a good situation,” Fauci said, in the quote that became the headline of the Post story.

“All the stars are aligned in the wrong place as you go into the fall and winter season, with people congregating at home indoors. You could not possibly be positioned more poorly.”

Apparently, those statements were just not political enough for the Office of Special Counsel. The office’s chief for Hatch Act investigations, Erica Hamrick, however, did admit that it was a “close call.”

In the end, Hamrick played the partisan hack role and defended Fauci, claiming the timing of the interview “coincided with the upcoming winter and Dr. Fauci’s assessment of the virus’s impact leading into that season.”

The fact that Fauci made these comments just before the 2020 election after the mainstream media had spent the duration of 2020 scaring the hell out of the American public leaves absolutely no doubt that he was making the statements in a political way rather than a professional way.

He knew exactly what he was doing when he said what he said.

Hamrick even tried to excuse Fauci’s political electioneerings by blaming the radical left Washington Post saying that perhaps they had a writer who “may have written it from a particular perspective and tried to use Dr. Fauci’s words to make a political point,” but noted that the OSC could not “impute the author’s intent to Dr. Fauci’s otherwise neutral assessment.”

It’s pretty hard to accept that Hamrick actually believes her own nonsense. Fauci was stumping for Joe Biden and it could not have been more obvious. At the time millions of Americans believed the pandemic was a really serious matter, thanks to the round-the-clock, fear-mongering propaganda from the mainstream media. His words, no doubt, affected their votes.
