AOC Triggered By Super Bowl Jesus Ads

(Liberty Bell) – Everyone’s favorite loony left-winger, New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was none too happy with some Christian advertisements that ran during the Super Bowl this past Sunday, going on to state that she did not think Jesus would support commercials that she claims make fascism “look benign.” Which is rich coming from a fascistic socialist, don’t you think? It seems the irony of her own statement is lost upon her.

Writer Landon Mion said in a piece published by Fox News, “The Christian group He Gets Us reportedly spent $20 million on two Super Bowl advertisements that showed Jesus as someone with empathy for immigrants and the poor, who was also tired of the division of politics.”

“Something tells me Jesus would *not* spend millions of dollars on Super Bowl ads to make fascism look benign,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. Because she’s a total expert on the Bible and the words of Jesus contained in the gospels. I’m almost positive that AOC can’t even spell the word “Bible,” let alone read and comprehend the true message of salvation contained therein.

“It was not entirely clear which ad she was referencing, though one of the He Gets Us spots that aired Sunday night started with a black-and-white image apparently showing a man shouting at a police officer in riot gear. Other images of unrest then appeared, followed by a line on-screen: ‘Jesus loved the people we hate,'” Mion noted.

The ad campaign was financially supported by the family that owns and runs Hobby Lobby, as well as several Christian advocacy groups and anonymous donors. The objective of the campaign was to spread the message of Jesus to those in the LBTGQ+ community, among others, that have often not felt welcome by Christianity.

“A previous He Gets Us spot showed a slideshow of black-and-white images of migrants fleeing their homes to avoid persecution. The ad revealed that the story is actually about Jesus, his mother, Mary and her husband, Joseph,” Mion’s article continued.

The He Gets Us campaign was originally launched in March 2022 and is currently planning to spend a staggering $2 billion plus over the course of the next several years. The advertisements include directions to a website that includes various Bible readings, and ways to chat about Jesus with other people.

According to the folks at the Washington Examiner, AOC launched another Super Bowl attack against Twitter billionaire Elon Musk.

“The progressive firebrand also took aim at billionaire guru Elon Musk, who was spotted next to NewsCorp CEO Rupert Murdoch during the Super Bowl,” the report stated.

“Birds of a feather flock together,” she zinged in a post published on Twitter Sunday evening.
