AOC Gets Devastating News

(Liberty Bell) – The House Ethics Committee has launched an investigation into Democratic New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the panel confirmed on Wednesday. AOC is one of the most embarrassing individuals in Congress, constantly humiliating herself and the people she represents by saying things that prove her head is mostly inflated with air and only contains a trace amount of brain cells. She couldn’t operate a garbage disposal, didn’t know how many branches of government there are in the American system, and also cost her district a massive deal with Amazon.

And that’s only the beginning of the long list of dumb stuff she’s done since taking office. What’s worse is there are people who vote for her because she keeps coming back like a bad foot fungus. That’s probably more embarrassing than anything that’s come from AOC’s mouth.

According to Evan Simko-Bednarski of the New York Post, “The eight-member committee provided no details about the nature of the investigation, saying only that it had decided to extend its consideration of a matter brought to its attention on June 23 of this year, and would announce its ultimate course of action some time next year.”

“But socialist darling AOC was the subject of two complaints submitted to the Office of Congressional Ethics over her attendance at last year’s Met Gala,” Simko-Bednarski wrote. “Ocasio-Cortez made waves at the gala wearing a designer-made dress emblazoned with the words: ‘Tax the Rich.'”

Both of these complaints allege that the democratic socialist, who is 33, broke the rules of the House by taking free tickets to the star-studded event. The tickets usually cost around $30,000.

“New York elected officials are routinely invited to and attend the Met due to our responsibilities in overseeing and supporting the city’s cultural institutions for the public,” Ocasio-Cortez went on to state in a response to critics at the time. “I was one of several in attendance this evening.”

“The Committee notes that the mere fact of a referral or an extension, and the mandatory disclosure of such an extension and the name of the subject of the matter, does not itself indicate that any violation has occurred, or reflect any judgment on behalf of the Committee,” a statement went on to say.

Louis Casiano of Fox News reported, Committee Acting Chair Susan Wild, D-Penn., and Ranking Member Michael Guest, R-Miss., stated the disclosure of the investigation ‘does not itself indicate that any violation has occurred, or reflect any judgment on behalf of the committee.'”

“The Office of Congressional Ethics is compelled to take up any complaint from any citizens and potentially refer it to the House Ethics Committee. The Ethics Committee can either decide to take up the matter or dismiss it. In this case, the panel decided to ‘extend the matter,'” Casiano continued.

Going back to the Met Gala controversy, AOC raised eyebrows by sporting a now infamous dress that said, “Tax The Rich,” in bold red letters. What’s hilarious is this dress was likely made by a designer who is one of the rich who would be taxed to oblivion by the policies of Ocasio-Cortez and other socialists like her.
